Professional interest

Beneficial functions of vegetation in agricultural, industrial and urbanised landscapes.
Utilisation of suitable natural materials for determining pollution levels in the environment.
Bio-indication the pollution loads around local pollution sources in a fine map scale and distribution of environmental pollution at the scale of the Czech Republic.
Maintaining databases on the concentration of pollutants in tree bark, moss, humus and other compartments of forest ecosystems in the Czech Republic since the late 1980s.
Biogeochemistry of forests in the Czech Republic.
